She was predeceased by: her parents, Thilo Vogel and Ingeborg Vogel; and her son James Klar. She is survived by: her daughters, Kate Broadfield (Jamie) of England, Peggy Shorey of Washington and Sandy Shorey of Willimantic; her grandson Brian Baxindale; and her siblings, Ute Hufnagel (Willi) and Thilo Vogel (Corolla) of Germany. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
