Brown-Claitty of Bloomfield, Connecticut, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Althea Steemer and James A. Brown; her siblings, Linda Fernandez, Stanley Maley and Verlyn Brown; and her grandson Byron Martin, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Wallace Claitty; her daughters, Stacey M. Price Martin (Byron Martin) of Miami, FL and Malkia T. Claitty-Jones (Kiwani Jones) of Florida City, FL; her siblings, Johnetta Chase of Springfield, Patricia Wright (Melvin) of Windsor, CT, Deborah Maley of Marietta, GA and Gordon Brown; her grandchildren, Malik J. Martin, Ajahne K. Claitty, Kiwani T. Claitty-Jones and Peyton Martin; and her great grandchildren, Lydia Martin and Serenity Miranda-Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and colleagues.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
