It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Jordan of Bloomfield, Connecticut, born in Baxley, Georgia, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenzy Jordan and Naomi Jordan (Butler); his grandson Anthony Harrison; and his sisters, Enease Jordan, Ethel Vaughns, Alice Kates, Sadie Mae Coates, Elizabeth Kates, Marietta Adams, Eva Mae Parrish and Gertrude Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Jordan (Butler); his children, Johnnie Earl Jordan, Donnie Jordan, Walter Jordan, Jr. (Ardella), Jerome Jordan, Vincent Jordan, Arnette Harrison, Kenneth Harrison (Olga), Ed Temple, Miles Butler (Linda), Maurice Butler, Cynthia Wilson, Regina Harrison, Rozina Harrison-Welborn (Oral), Theresa Temple and Flora Butler; his brothers, Lenzy Jordan, Jr. (Linda), James Jordan and Eddie Jordan (Anne); his brother-in-law Clarence Simmons; and his sisters, Ruby Stewart, Athenia Williams, Vandella Bates (Frank), Mary Frances Green and Norma Holmes. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
