He was predeceased by: his wife Willie Mae Knight; his daughter Lorraine Knight; and his brothers, Wilfred Knight and Israel Knight. He is survived by: his nephews, Earvin Brown and Ray Brown; his niece Francis Sharp; his cousin Pamela Outar; and his close friend Ernest Perry. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
