He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Nina Williams (Kearney); his father Russell Pinney; his son-in-law Robert Reed; and his sisters, Jacqueline Bryden and Gail Beining.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Michael Williams (Dayle) of Bloomfield, Kathleen Reed of West Suffield, Sheri (Kevin Connelly) of Bloomfield and Kellie (Edward Bassell) of Ocala, FL; his grandchildren, Russell, Jennifer Williams, Meagan, Mike Cordi, Brett, Matt Dickhut, Robert, Mallory Reed, Brendan Reed, Michele Hoffmann, Declan Reed, John Connelly, Kathleen Connelly and Katherine Bassell; his great grandchildren, Parker, Charlotte, Imogen, Jack, Mike, Emmet, Fionnuala, Lucille and Forest; his sister Linda Cullen (Len) of Colchester; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Bryden and Paul Beining.
