He was predeceased by: his father Luther Banks Sr.; and his brother Luther Banks Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Louise Lawrence Banks; his children, Anyce Banks, Roderick B. Banks Jr. and Rashad B. Banks; and his siblings, Andrea Banks Daniels, Lisa Banks and Kenneth Banks. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
