He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Benjamin Roy Snipes and Elsie Snipes (Judkins); his grandparents, Walter Judkins and Mary Jane Judkins (Bailey); and his sister Jaime L. Snipes-Learmand.
He is survived by: his children, Jonetta L. Snipes of Broadbrook, CT and Jaharra Otisha L. Snipes of Hephzibah, GA; his stepchildren, Jamane L. Ward (Betsie) of East Hartford, CT and Juanmica L. Ellis of Augusta, GA.; his grandchildren, Shaniya Snipes-Richardson, Shaliyah Knighton, Shaniqua Ward, Jamane Ward II, Sonrye Ward, Jamarie Ward, Sasha-Iyanla Mays, Bernard Mays Jr. and Mahoganey Crowe; and his great grandchildren, Azura Crowe, Lougues Paul Altrema II, Logan Paul Altrema and Kyaire Crowe.
