She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence F. Hine; her brother Arthur S. Whittemore, Jr.; and her son-in-law Louis Federico. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Federico, Judith H. Oliverio (David) of Windsor and Nancy H. Flanagan of Waterbury. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mount Holyoke College in support of scholarship aide to Frances Perkins students.
