He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwarka Persaud and Kowsilla Persaud; his siblings, Pertab "Babu" Persaud, Danpaul Persaud and Data Adeen Flood; and his great grandchild Rahil Singh.
He is survived by: his wife Zulaika Persaud; his children, Sita Persaud of Bloomfield, Leita Jaipershad (Shyama) of Bloomfield, Esha Singh (Arjune Jainarayan Singh) of Guyana, Premnauth Persaud (Fazia) of Queens, NY, Nalini Baksh (Kamruddeen) of Windsor, Rajendra Persaud of Bloomfield and Yasmin Gordon (Tony) of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Anuj Singh (Alanna), Justin Singh (Tameka), Dirhen Persaud, Anil Persaud, Saif Baksh, Navin Persaud, Jaya Backreedy (Steven), Avital Jaipershad Zayas (Alex Zayas) and Maya Jaipershad; his great grandchildren, Meher Backreedy, Amaya Zayas, Anura Backreedy, Neya Singh, Giovanna Singh and Gabriel Singh; and his brother Bobby "Algoo" Persaud (Dorothy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
