He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive Birch Warner Hincks and John Morris Hincks; and his brothers, Robert and William. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Robinson Lockwood; his children, Rebecca (Mats Carlsson) of Stockholm, Jennifer Reynolds (Steve) of Amherst, MA, John (Anne) of Sudbury, MA and Benjamin (Martha) of Newton, MA.; his grandchildren, Linnea, Sam, Edward, Abby, Lila, Teddy, Leah, David, Johnny and Danny; his sister Birch Milliken of Bloomfield, CT; and his sister-in-law Claudia Huber Hincks of Old Lyme, CT. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.
