He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Fortson; his children, John Fortson Jr. (Doreen), Darryl Fortson Sr. (Christine) and Chervon Fortson of Bloomfield, CT.; his sister Imogene Cade Alexandar of Windsor, CT.; his grandchildren, Stephen, Cherelle, Kijuan, Ahzja, Shalia, Jasmine, Keelon, Darryl Jr., Cheyna, Christopher, Daysha and Kiarrah; his great grandchildren, Bria, Keilani, Lamani, Cameron, Gia Rose, Mason, Maya and King John; and his godchildren, Jason, Regina, Patrick and Tiffany. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
He was a faithful Pastor and member of Full Gospel Foundation Building Ministries International Worship Center.
