He was predeceased by: his parents, John Belas, Jr. and Genevieve Belas (Strajkowski); and his brother Alan J. Belas. He is survived by: his wife Francisca Belas; his daughter Ashley Belas of West Haven; his stepdaughters, Patricia Lenge (Enoch) of South Glastonbury and Fernanda Nebias (Bruno); his stepgrandchildren, Zara, Asher Lenge, Isis and Maya Nebias; and his sister Marian Royce of Plainville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
