With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan McAllister Hurwitz of Bloomfield, Connecticut, born in Barre, Vermont, who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Hurwitz; her parents, Rowe McAllister and Libby McAllister; and her brother Arthur McAllister. She is survived by: her brother Robert McAllister (Dorothy) of Windsor; and her sister-in-law Barbara McAllister of Simsbury. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
