He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Ritson and Jane Ritson (Gallagher); and his sisters, Evva Benson and Sally Yuska. He is survived by: his wife Joanne J. Ritson (Jacobs); his children, Michael Bartlett Ritson (Anne Colby) of Weatogue, CT, Victoria Lyon (Richard) of West Simsbury, CT and Merritt Bartlett, II (Lisa); his grandchildren, Stephen Ritson, Jessica Lyon and Emma Colby Ritson; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Isabella and Sophia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jim's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
