She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Deans and Robert Deans; her daughter Pauline; her husband Lesley Deans; her daughter Cynthia Douglas; her grandson Vernal O'Connor; and her great grandchild Ralston Fraser.
She is survived by: her children, Desmond Deans, Ruel Deans, Zona Fearon and Lesley Deans (Lee). She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
