She was predeceased by: her parents, James Atkinson, Sr. and Roberta Penick-Atkinson; her husband Charles W. Anderson; her son Philip Anderson; and her siblings, James Atkinson, Jr., Charles Atkinson, Rachel Atkinson-Curry and George Atkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Anderson and Charles Anderson, Sr.; her grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Stacey), Charles Anderson, Jr. (Chris), Patrice Anderson and Charlise Anderson; her great grandchildren, Charli Anderson, Nia Anderson, Camren Anderson and Avree Anderson; her sister Alberta Thornton (James); her sister-in-law Mary Johnson-Perry; and her goddaughter Nikia Henderson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
