It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Rivers Warren Hall of Bloomfield, Connecticut, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Annabelle Bray Rivers and William Rivers; her husband Army Lieutenant Phim Hall; her son Phillip Hall of Hartford; her siblings, Rubye Marshall of Hartford and Charles Rivers of Bloomfield; and her son-in-law Lawrence R. Steinberg of New York.
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Chloe and Howard Warren; her daughter Miriam "Mimi" Eileen Warren Sykes; her grandsons, Joshua (Stephanie Steinberg), Gregory (Aiyana Sykes), John (Khai Sykes), Jeremy (Darryle Steinberg), Keith Steinberg of New York and Andrew (Lisa Steinberg); her great grandchildren, Tiffani Sykes, N'Dea Sykes, Breonna Sykes, Nora Steinberg, Mattie Steinberg, Nate Steinberg, Ari Steinberg and Luca Steinberg; her great great grandchildren, Elias Sykes, Rhyleigh Willis, Carter Willis, Carlie Willis, Noah Slayton and Miyah Thompson; her godchildren, James and Jacenta Frazier of Bloomfield; and her nieces and nephews, Shirley Ann Jones (Deborah Warren Taylor), Gregory (Ramona Hyson), Alfred (May Rivers), Tammi (Daniel Harris) and Karen LaSalle-Lovelace of East Windsor.
