She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys Pounds Knight; her husband Lewis Myrick, Sr.; and her grandmother Julia Pounds. She is survived by: her pet Ebony; her sister Dolores Saunders (Thurman); her children, Carl McGriff (Dennis) and Dana McGriff; her stepson Lewis Myrick Jr. (Valerie); her granddaughter Ashley McGriff; her great grandchild Micaylah Mitchell; her siblings, Morris Knight and Jubae Knight; and her nieces, Stacey McGriff-Hodges (Woody) and Ganesha Knight.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
