She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney O. McKain and Marrie McKain; and her sister Connie Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Peter Wood; her sons, Paul Edwards, Sr. (Walmuir Edwards), Andrew Stephenson and Christopher Wood, Sr.; her grandchildren, Paul Edwards, Jr., Caleb Edwards, Zaria Green-Wood and Christopher Wood, Jr. (Carmen); and her siblings, Pauline Jones, Oliver McKain and Lloyd McKain. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rehoboth Church of God (1170 Blue Hills Ave, Bloomfield, CT 06002). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
