She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William C. Maurath and Hope B. Wood; her husband Richard C. Newell; her children, Jan Newell Spears, Jasmine and Randall S. Newell (Karen); her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Christopher; her daughter Wendy Newell Hunt (Pat); her grandchildren, Lila and Patrick; and her sister Clara.
