With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Gaddy Sr. in Bloomfield, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 12, 2020 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Gaddy and Emmett "Dee" Gaddy, Sr.; his grandparents, Will and Leola Silmon; his siblings, Emmett "June" Gaddy, Jr., Elizabeth "Coo" Gaddy-Brown, Ronald Gaddy and Leslie "Butch" Gaddy, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Hogan.
He is survived by: his children, Alfred Gaddy, Jr., Eric Gaddy, Duane Gaddy (Tina), Gregory Gaddy Sr. (Carmen), Sheldon McNeil (Enna), Cheryl Gaddy and Shavonne Hayes; his siblings, Lilian Hogan, Rosalind, Jacalyn, Pamela Gaddy and Derrick Gaddy (Sharice); and his cousin Charles Gaddy (Linda). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
