She was predeceased by: her father Ralph McConchie; and her husband David E. McWhirt. She is survived by: her children, Karen McWhirt (Robert), Kathryn D'Alessandro (Geoffrey) and Scott McWhirt (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Emily Fitzpatrick (Ryan), Eric Pattison (Caitlin), Claire, Colette D'Alessandro, Brian and Gabrielle McWhirt; her great grandchildren, Eloise and Andrew Fitzpatrick; and her sister Olive McConchie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Patricia's memory to: VITAS Hospice Unit at St. Mary's Hospital, 56 Franklin Street – 4th Floor, Waterbury, CT 06706.
