He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Staib and Dorothy Staib (Wildman); and his former wife Beatrice Prasnal Staib. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Stoddard Staib (Brown); his children, Karen Hastings (James) and Gary Staib (Julie Young); his stepsons, Christopher Stoddard (Kathi) and Craig Stoddard (Amanda); his grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter (Matt), Shelby Salmon (Ryan), Alex, Bryce Staib, Brooke, David, Jack, Regan and Samantha Stoddard; his brother James Staib (Yvonne); his niece Pamela Danisiewicz; his nephew James Staib Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Helena and Esme.
