He is survived by: his wife Mary Dow Patterson; and his children, Paul A. Patterson (Tricie), Mary Sayer (Mike), Steve Patterson (Mary Beth), Margie Rodgers (Jim) and Beth Dingee (Todd). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Regional Hospice of Danbury or Shriners Children's.
