She was predeceased by: her parents, Alden W. Smith and Charlotte E. Smith; her husband Walter Ronald Kenney; and her brother-in-law Robert A. Anderson. She is survived by: her son Walter Glen Kenney (Lori); her grandchildren, Samantha of Rotunda West, FL and Warren Walter Kenney (Cristina) of Naugatuck; her sister Barbara Smith Anderson of Upper Marlboro, MD; her siblings-in-law, Constance Svea Caswell and Philip Caswell, III of Jupiter, FL; her nephews, Douglas R. Anderson and Ward S. Caswell; her niece Valerie Anderson; her cousins, Jane W. Ambler (Don) of Maine, Marcia W. Dunne and Unionville; and her godsons, Donald R. Bassett, Douglas R. Anderson, Alan A. Frederickson and Ward S. Caswell.
