It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merritt R. Russell of Bethany, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Merritt R. Russell, Jr. and Jeryle Ann Johnson Russell; his sisters, Alissia (Mike Haig) and Holly Russell; his nieces, Keira, Leah and Aspen; and his grandparents, Jerome, Marjorie Johnson and Agnes Russell. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many good friends.

Due to the Coronavirus we ask anyone attending services please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to assist with memorial expenses.
