With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Bowden (Bethany, Connecticut), born in Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 14, 2020 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest P. Rogers and Beatrice Nettleton Rogers; her husbands, Carl and Carleton Loring Bowden; her son Lester Schulte; her brother Ernest Rogers, Jr.; her children-in-law, Dorothy, Patricia Schulte and Charles Bowdoin; her brother-in-law Howard Sweet; and also, Patricia, Vera, Raymond Rogers and Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Linwood M. Schulte of Milford, Willard C. Schulte of Milford, Bernice Louise Bowdoin of Riverside, RI and Deborah Murphy (Charles) of Coventry, RI; her sister Marilla Sweet of Milford; and her daughter-in-law Pauline Schulte of West Suffield. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren.
