He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sharnick and Mary Sharnick (Horny); his siblings, Joseph Sharnick (Mary), George, Paul Sharnick, Helen Lychock (Ferdinand) and Mary Toraya (Louis); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Fabry (Ronald) and Joseph Gross (Alicia).
He is survived by: his son Wayne R. Sharnick (Mary Donnarumma Sharnick) of Beacon Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Sharnick of Stratford and Pauline Plasko (John) of Trumbull. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
