She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hammac and Mary Russo Hammac; her son George A. Rice Jr.; her siblings, James, Dennis, William Hammac and Gloria Burns; and her grandson Sean G. Rice.
She is survived by: her husband George A. Rice Sr.; her daughters, Mary Sue Feige (Thomas Sr.) of Shelton, Brenda Rice of Beacon Falls and Debra Rosengren (Robert) of Norwich; her sister Rose Deegan of New Port Richey, FL; her grandchildren, Thomas Feige Jr. (Katie) of Beacon Falls, Melissa Bauer (Christopher) of Trumbull and Kayla Rosengren of Norwich; and her great grandchildren, Emma Feige, Thomas Feige III, Jeffrey Bauer and Bennett Bauer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
