He is survived by: his children, Margaret Best (Bob), Heather Capozziello (Joseph) of Beacon Falls, Beau Green of Naugatuck, Nicole Finelli (John) and Cheyenne Root (Aj Lee); his siblings, Dena Forbes (Les) of Wallingford, Jane Raccio of Naugatuck, David Root (Eloisa) of Ansonia, Mathew Root (Maggie) of Ansonia and Roy Pipher of Wallingford; and his grandchildren, Bobby, Christine, Jason Best, Wyatt, Anya Capozziello, Hailee Green, Callie Lee and Grayson Finelli.
