As Vera departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Vera. Though Vera may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. Robert Martin. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Kyle" Martin, Jay Martin and Darlyne Martin Jackson; and her pet Shakira.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center (301 Country Club Rd, Avon, CT 06001). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ss Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church (34 Fairview Ave, Terryville, CT 06786). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Ss Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Cemetery (23 E Plymouth Rd, Terryville, CT 06786).
