It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Nelson (Avon, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond E. Nelson; her parents, William E. Farh and Anna Farh (Bobecka); and her siblings, Ralph Fahr and Agnes Solek.
She is survived by: her son Austin Johnson (Cathy) of Meriden; her nieces, Katherine Solek of West Hartford and Anna Stoddard of Enfield; and her grandchildren, Michael Ezekiel of Canton, MA, Heather Little of Hamden and Ashley Victoria Grafton of St. Cloud, FL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
