He is survived by: his children, Angelo, Patty Messina of Mystic, CT, Dr. Michael, Carol Messina of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mary, Andy Glassman of Simsbury, CT, Richard and Beth Messina of Avon, CT; his daughter-in-law Marie Messina of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Therese, Danny, Brian, David, Sean, Amanda, Nathan, Samuel, Matthew, Olivia and Michael Angelo; his sister Janet Sola of Hamden, CT; and his sister-in-law Shirley Sapita of New Britain, CT. He is also survived by spouses and his eight great-grandchildren.
