We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2020, at the age of 90, Lawrence J. Apuzzo of Avon, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Apuzzo and Lily Apuzzo (Gravina). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Apuzzo (Taverna); his daughters, Laureen Wood (Boyd) of Stafford, Gayle A. Dillman of Wilmington, DE and Patrice McGregor (Scott) of Simsbury; his brother Pasquale Apuzzo (Connie) of Deer Park, NY; his granddaughters, Jessica Hammie (Patrick) and Melissa Noonan (Andrew Moure); his great grandchildren, Jordan and Sophia; his grandchildren, Tyler Dillman (Caitlin Wise) and Cassandra Wood-Triplett (Josh); his great grandchild Fionn; his grandchildren, Christopher Noonan (Tina Pepin), Erica Dillman (Louis DeLeo), Douglas, Joanne McGregor, Betsy McGregor (Paul Woodward) and Patrice; his son-in-law Jeffrey Dillman; and also Richard Taverna (Melanie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
