James Mitchell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Mitchell of Avon, Connecticut, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia C. Mitchell; and his brother Charles W. Mitchell, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Caitlin Mitchell; his sister-in-law Nancy Crowley; and his niece Carol Gay.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home (326 Granite Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (350 Reedsdale Rd, Milton, MA 02186).
