He was predeceased by: his wife Louise "Nan" Douglass Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Megan Kennedy Pattrell (Charles) and Edward Thomas Kennedy II; and his grandchildren, Daniel Robert Pattrell, Stephen James Pattrell, Matthew Charles Pattrell and Elizabeth Montague Kennedy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
