He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frank A. Gagan and Claire D. Gagan; his brother William P. Gagan; his uncle Gus Forward; and his friend Stuart Dorfman.

He is survived by: his wife Krystyna Gagan of Poland; his daughters, Michelle Gagan (Joseph Minkos) and Ingrid Gagan; his siblings, Robert Gagan (Carol) and Sara Gagan; and his friend Dr. Barry Farber. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
