It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Griswold in Avon, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Griswold (Sisson); his parents, Gordon and Flora Griswold (Wilcox); his children, Anita G. Lowry (Steven) of Leland, NC and Robert Donald Griswold of West Hartland; his grandsons, Steven Christopher Lowry and James Donald Lowry; his daughter Holly J. Norton; his sister Marianne Bendott; and his half-siblings, Ethel Buck, Dorothy Swensen, Irwin Beckwith, George Beckwith and William Griswold. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Masks must be worn, and social distancing will be observed at all services.
