He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Grace Smith (King); his brother Gregory Smith; his parents-in-law, Richard and Doris Wilson (Wood); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Wilson (Joanne), Kathryn Smyth (Peter) and James Wilson (Sharon).
He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Smith (Wilson); his children, Jamie (Chad Ashmore) of Brooklyn and Ian (Kailyn Smith) of Killingly; his grandsons, Alexander Grey of Mansfield, Cyrus Smith (Libby Bezz) of Plainville, Derek Peterson (Silvia Cote) of Somerville, Mass., Dylan Peterson of Killingly and Jaxsun Smith of Killingly; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Smith (Vaillant), Patricia Laramee (Stephen) of Worcester, Mass and Doris Grant (Frank) of Greensboro; and his daughters, Boo and Digit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
