He is survived by: his mother Patricia Phelan Boyd; his siblings, Richard Boyd of Ansonia, John Woodruff (Lori) of Danbury and Susan Woodruff of Danbury; his grandchildren, Shannon Boyd of Milford, Richard "Wallie" Boyd Jr. of Trumbull, Madalyne of Waterbury and Danielle Baratti of Waterbury; and his pet Max.
