He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wilkitis and Savina D'Antuono Wilkitis; and his brother-in-law Edward J. Najjar. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Karlok Wilkitis; his children, David Wilkitis (Maresa) of Milford and Wendy A. Chiappetta of Seymour; his grandsons, Cameron Wilkitis, Kyle Wilkitis of Milford and Aaron Chiappetta of Seymour; his sister Rebecca Najjar of Seymour; and his nephew Christopher Karlok of New Hampshire.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (61 N Cliff St, Ansonia, CT 06401).
