Stephen Sherwood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Sherwood of Ansonia, Connecticut, who passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sherwood and Sophie Sherwood (Lobodynsky); and his brother Clarence Sherwood. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sherwood (Hatrick); his sons, Stephen Jr., Jeffery and Curt Sherwood; his sisters, Claudette Griffith, Jennie Kurowski and Stella Costello; and his grandchildren, Tristin, Austin, Blake and Damon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the William R. McDonald Funeral Home (2591 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
Donations in his memory may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
