She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis A. Grindrod Sr.; her parents, Anthony Poirer and Betty Ann Perry (Demingway); and her sister Tanya Perry. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Deziel (Mark) of Waterbury, Shannon Walker (Jason) of Oxford and Dennis A. Grindrod Jr. of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Grindrod-Baldelli (Ralph), Dennis A. Grindrod III, Jordan, Sydney, Jesse Walker and Noah Grindrod-Walker; her brother Todd Perry (Bert) of Essex; and her aunt Beverly Cappello.
