It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah C. Abate (Ansonia, Connecticut), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calogero Patti and Providenza Vinciquerra Patti; her son-in-law Richard C. Spatafore; and her siblings, Nicholas, Louis, Orlando, Joseph, Anthony, Samuel Patti, Josephine Gilbert and Carmen Caprio Marcucio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Borkowski (Thomas) of Chesterfield Township and Rose Marie T. Spatafore of Ansonia; and her grandchildren, Gina D'Ambruoso (John) of Oxford, Lori Rasile (Michael Smith) of Branford and Brian Borkowski (Diane). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
