Robert J. Kolakowski Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert J. Kolakowski Jr. of Ansonia, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Pudgy" J. Kolakowski Sr. and Constance "Connie" Culmo Kolakowski; and his brother Fred Kolakowski. He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Salisbury (Kent) of Ohio and Tara Kolakowski of Ansonia; his nieces and nephews, Fred Kolakowski Jr., Amy Landrau (Carlos), Harrison Salisbury and Emma Salisbury; his great-nieces, Abby, Lily and Isabelle; his great-nephew Charlie Landrau; his uncles, Angelo Culmo of New York and Eric Culmo of Florida; and his aunt Millie Culmo.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (10 Father Salemi Dr, Ansonia, CT 06401).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Norwood A.C.'s Fred Kolakowski Golf Tournament Scholarship Fund.
