We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023, at the age of 84, Maryann Ahearn of Ansonia, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maryann Ahearn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Shea and Frances Shea (Schwagerman); and her sister Sheila Shea. She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, John "Jay" Ahearn Jr. of Ansonia, Maureen Rubin (Mitchell) of Morganville, N. J., Timothy Ahearn (Judy) of Bethany, Patrick Ahearn (Kimberly) of Amherst, N. H. and Christopher Ahearn (Sarah) of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Alex, Kaitlin, Douglas Rubin, Hannah, Jack Ahearn, Abigail, Aidan Ahearn, Brighton, Weston and Triston Ahearn; and her sister Frances Shea Gorman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Assumption School, 51 N. Cliff St. Ansonia or to The St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
