She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cottrell and Lorraine Mehrhoff Cottrell; her brother Jeffrey Cottrell (Monica); and her brother-in-law Joseph P. "Jay" Amico. She is survived by: her husband Rick; her siblings, Richard of Florida, Randy Cottrell of Florida and Cynthia Rifkin (Joshua) of Milford; her in-laws, Nicholas and Evelyn Amico Sr. of Ansonia; her brother-in-law Nicholas Amico Jr. of Ansonia; her nieces, Crystal Quaranta, Kimberly, Suzanne, Caitlin Cottrell, Angela Shinall and Nicole Fiorelli (Alex); her nephew Jeffrey; and her pets, Duke and Daisy.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (10 Father Salemi Dr, Ansonia, CT 06401).
