It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne E. Borgesano of Ansonia, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Margaret Ogle Smith. She is survived by: her husband Agostino Borgesano; her daughters, Melissa A. Swan (Jason) of Oxford and Kristen M. Boroski of Milford; her stepdaughter Lisa Marie Borgesano of Ansonia; her siblings, David A. Smith of Niceville, FL, Richard E. Smith (Anna) of Seymour and Carolyn Johnson (Deacon Robert Johnson) of Ansonia; and her granddaughters, Avery and Kaelyn Swan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
