It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Guillermina Gomez of Ansonia, Connecticut, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Gomez; her son Carlos Gomez; and her siblings, Juventino Gereda, Héctor Gereda, Julio Gereda, Marco Tulio Gereda, Fredy Gereda, Natividad Gereda, Candida Gereda, María Cristina Gereda, Consuelo Gereda and Blanca R. Gereda.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betsy, Gladys, Mayra and Silvia Gomez; and her sister Gilda Gereda. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home (253 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT 06418). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
