He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Caruana and Maria Santavicca Caruana; and his siblings, Pasquale, Antonio Caruana and Nunziata Caruana.
He is survived by: his children, Davide Caruana of Germany and Morena Penz of Germany; and his sister Elia Giordano (Lucio) of Orange. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (212 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT 06418).
